Just Blame My Parents
So it’s been three months since I have been able to blog and I want to explain to my readers that it is because of my parents. I blame them because they have been taken over by their addiction to that stupid Frontier Ville game on facebook. But don’t worry both of them include me in the game now. So, at least they love me that much. Anyways, I must also confess that I have had a very busy summer, between traveling and just catching up with some old friends, (Shout out to Mr. Bug) I have not been able to sit down and write. Anyways, I just want everyone to know that I’m back and I will be posting my summer activities soon.
My First 5th of July
My first 4th of July was postponed to the 5th due to the federal government not recognizing a holiday on Sunday, not because of other reasons. Yes, I may be little but I follow the news. Also, the Federal Reserve was closed so Mommy and Daddy got the day off. J We spent the weekend in Idaho Falls spending time with family. On Sunday, Grandpa Lembrich took me to see all the American/Liberty Flags and showed me the ones he carried. On the 5th, we got up and I think it was the first time Mommy has ever been to the parade before it started. It was very exciting, so much in fact that I had to take a quick nap just to keep up with the excitement. That night was the big show that Mommy and Daddy kept talking about, the fireworks. Again, I was so excited that when we got there I fell asleep and unfortunately I slept right through them. So I guess my 5th of July was just too much for me and maybe next year I will be able to stay awake for the Fireworks. Anyways, Happy Birthday America!
My First Visit to Yellowstone

In June, my parents celebrated their anniversary by going to Grandpa Rice’s cabin in Island Park and visiting Yellowstone. Of course I tagged along, (let’s face it they are never going to get to be alone ever again J ) After five hours of driving and being trapped in that awful carseat that my mom claims to be comfortable, we arrived in Island Park. On Saturday morning, we planned on going to Yellowstone until Mommy tried to take a shower and found out that there was no hot water. So after Daddy found out that he forgot to do a crucial step in the water turning on process, we all hopped back into the car and drove back to Idaho Falls to get tools to fix the water heater. Now some of you may be making fun of my mommy for not being to go without hot water, but I must inform you that we are not talking about your average cold water, we are talking about mountain river cold water that still has frost on it. So I will defend my mom and hot water was a must for the weekend. We finally were able to go to Yellowstone on Sunday and it was great. There were tons and tons of buffalo, elk, and we even saw a bear (well we drove by a bear; mom didn’t want to stop and be the bear’s lunch.) We did the upper loop with all the fun geysers and I now know that my parents cannot complain about my diapers being stinking because those geysers smell much worse, but they do give me something to aspire to. Yellowstone was fun and I can’t wait to go back when I’m older and can actually see out the window, but I must give my parents the award of “Best Backseat Entertainers” because I was laughing and giggling the whole time. (Pictures and Video coming soon.)

Three Months Old!
I am now three months old and my parents celebrated by getting me a pool. I think it was their excuse to get something to help cool them down this summer, but I had fun playing in the pool with mommy and daddy.
Tickle-Me-Maddi
So here I was playing with my mommy when all of a sudden she starts tickling me. I couldn't stop laughing. I guess she thinks I'm one of those tickle-me-Elmo dolls. My mom is so silly!

Saturday Morning Cartoons

So last Saturday morning, my friend giraffee, (yes, I know it's spelled with only one "e", but I pronounce it with two "e") introduced me to Saturday morning cartoons. Mommy was shocked that they were re-running old episodes of Mighty Morphine Power Rangers. So Mommy and Daddy told me all their old memories of the show. I now know how officially lame my parents are, I mean really, they pretended to be Power Rangers. Anyways, hopefully next Saturday there will be better cartoons for me to watch.
Two Months and Growing!

So it has been awhile since I have blogged and I'm sorry. I'm just been so busy growing and playing. I'm now two months old and at my two month check-up I weighed in at a impressive 10 pounds and 5 ounces, but my height was still on the short end at 21 inches. The good news is that I have finally grown into my 0-3 month clothes and wow do I have a lot to chose from! Since everyone thought I was going to be bigger, most of my clothes are 0-3, so now mommy is very happy to play dress up. Please someone help me, I swear she puts me in like three outfits a day! Anyways, life is good. I am getting better at holding my head up and I can rollover from my tummy to my back. (My parents think it's a big deal, they get really happy and cheer me on, but I really just feel like a dog, next they will be scratching my belly and telling me to sit.)
Playing at the Park
The weather has been so beautiful lately that my Mom is finally letting me outside. I have been holed up inside the house for weeks. we went on a nice picnic to the park. There were these huge trees all around it made me feel very little. Then Mom and Dad started arguing about how tall the trees were then I got bored. Anyway I had a really good time and I hope Mommy lets me go out again soon.

Picture Time at Sears

So my wonderful parents decided the best way to celebrate me being a month old was to make me go get pictures taken at Sears. I of course was a little disappointed I was hoping for a slammin party with all of my crib mates. To get back at them I decided I would either not look at the camera ever or I would fall sleep. I did a little of both.

Baby Blankets
I received a ton of blankets from my cousins and my Aunts but lots of people have also made me some super cute blankets. I wanted to thank all of them and show the rest of you how cute some of my blankies are. pictures coming soon.
Grammy's Fashion Show
My Grammy bought me lots of super cute outfits and shocker a lot of them actually fit. I think she needs to teach the rest of you how to shop because half of you must of thought I was going to be a big 'ol chubbster or something because the clothes you bought are way to big. Don't feel bad though even my parents bought me clothes that are way to big. Did you see what the dressed me in to come home from the hospital? The shirt looked like a dress and the pants were long enough that they could of pulled them up to my chin and my feet still would not have been through the hole on the bottom. Here are some pics of a few of the outfits that Grammy bought me...
Paparazzi
I know I am cute and all but please stop with all the flashing lights. Do you really need 3 cameras and 1 phone to take my picture all from the same angle. In today's day and age can't you just share your pictures with each other. I mean really REALLY really? Pictures coming soon
Meeting my Grandmas
Over the last week I got to meet all my Grandmas. Technically I had already met Grandma Frances but I got to meet Granny Nancy and Grammy (that is my Dad's Mom). I love all my Grandmas and I can't wait to see them again. I only wish that they lived closer. Mom and Dad told me I would be crawling the next time i get to see any of them again. Dad promised to hang up pictures of them in my room so I can still see them and Mom promised to send videos of me to them so they wouldn't miss me to much. Pictures coming soon.
Baby Blessing
On Sunday my Daddy blessed me at church. He was a little nervous. In fact he was so nervous that they didn't have to bounce me in the circle he was shaking so much i felt like i was in my bouncy chair with all those vibrations. It was great to see and meet more of my family. The blessing went well and I looked super cute in Momma's white dress. I was also able to get pretty much everyone in the family to cry at least once.

My New Bed
I know I have a basinet to sleep in and it is ok as far as beds go, way better then the piece of cardboard I had at the hospital, and I know that technically that the basinet is my bed. Regardless of all that though my favorite place to sleep and what I’m calling my new bed is Daddy. I sleep longer, warmer, and better there than anywhere else. I need to be careful though because I have picked up this snoring habit from Daddy that I only started doing after sleeping on Daddy. I am worried that if I don't stop snoring soon Momma won't let me sleep on Dad anymore.
Sleeping at the Hospital
As if it isn't hard enough to get sleep in the hospital Daddy was poking around with a stupid video camera. I was just trying to get some much needed sleep before a nurse came and woke me up to do who knows what (seriously how many times are you guys going to take me temperature? You got a blood and urine sample as well as an unwanted stool sample what else could they possible want?) I guess the camera wasn't too bad I just wanted some more sleep it isn't easy being this cute you know.
Meeting my Giraffe Friend
Last night Momma decided it was time for me to play with some of my toys. This is me meeting my Giraffe friend for the first time.
The Poop Cannon
I was in the NICU to get catheterized and my blood drawn. I heard the nurse say as she was explaining the procedure to the new nurse "hopefully they don't have a dirty diaper" to her disappointment I had exactly that but not just any dirty diaper the biggest poopy diaper I have had to date. So the nurse cleaned me all up and then started to get ready to do the catheter. I didn't really understand what this was until next thing I know she is trying to shove a little tube up my woo hoo it was then I discovered the poop cannon. Long story short I was able to not only get the nurse but I got her equipment and helper as well. Teach them to ever try and catheterize me again. After coming home I understood that my parents were new at this and so I was a little sympathetic at first when it took them 10 mins to change my diaper but after about 1 day I decided the learning curve was over so to teach Mom to be a little faster I peed on her mid-wipe. A little mean I know but she is must faster now so I have a whole lot less time sitting there in the cold. I love my Mom but a girl has needs. Daddy couldn't stop laughing and he teased Momma about it for several days. Enough was enough I had to teach him a lesson so he would stop teasing my Mom so... the next time he changed me I initiated the poop cannon. Daddy doesn't tease Momma anymore ;o)

Playtime with Momma
Momma likes to sing and play with me. Today she decided to seranade me with the Black Eyed Peas and Beyonce. Make sure you catch the video at the bottom.
Monkey Friend
I have discovered a new person in the house. I think Daddy was trying to hide him from me at first but when he was on one of his many trips to Home Depot with grandpa Aunt Mary introduced us. He may not be the most colorful of people but his eyes draw me in. They have a very dark deep quality to them I could just stare into his eyes all day.

Meeting my Grandpas
I have heard Momma say several times that I have Daddy wrapped around my little finger. He has confirmed this out loud several times as well so I decided it was time to move on to the big guns...Grandpa. It helped that Mom dressed me for the occasion.
